XYSCO Sickle Cell Foundation (XSCF) is a registered nonprofit organization in Ghana, committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. Founded by survivors and passionate advocates, we envision a world where sickle cell is no longer a barrier to living a full and healthy life.
At XSCF, we focus on raising awareness, educating communities, and providing vital support to those in need. Through advocacy, health outreach programs, and strong partnerships with healthcare providers, we are bridging the gap between knowledge and care.

Support for Patients and Families
Providing counseling, education, and peer support for those living with sickle cell and their caregivers.
Youth and School Engagement
Educating young people on genotype compatibility, health choices, and empowerment through school tours and interactive sessions.
Advocacy and Policy Work
Engaging stakeholders and government agencies to improve national policies and healthcare systems for sickle cell management.
World Sickle Cell Day & Month Activities
Leading annual events in June and September to amplify awareness and celebrate resilience within the sickle cell community.
